About

Measured, not judged

Face Shape Test measures your face from a single photo using 478 facial landmarks and reports your face shape, proportions and symmetry with the numbers behind them. It is built for people choosing a haircut, glasses or beard style, and for anyone curious about their features.

How accurate is it?

The shape classifier was trained on a public dataset of 4,000 labelled faces. On the held-out test set the best match is correct 64% of the time and the correct shape is within the top two 87% of the time, which is why we always show the runner-up. Accuracy drops when the head is turned, so use a straight-on photo.

What it is not

It is not a beauty judge. Scores such as symmetry and harmony describe geometry, not worth, and every face shape has styles that suit it.
