The five face shapes, measured

Face shape is about proportions: how long your face is compared with its width, and how the forehead, cheekbones and jaw compare with each other. Not sure which one you are? Take the test.

Oval face

Balanced proportions, gently rounded jaw, face slightly longer than wide.

Round face

Width and length are close to equal, with soft angles and full cheeks.

Square face

Strong, angular jaw about as wide as the forehead and cheekbones.

Heart face

Wide forehead and cheekbones tapering to a narrow, sometimes pointed chin.

Oblong face

Noticeably longer than wide, with straight sides and similar forehead and jaw widths.
